Alexa Stone transitioned out of corporate america in 2009 to establish ecoPreserve, a certified female owned sustainability consulting company. ecoPreserve's mission is to help organizations improve operations, reduce costs and achieve sustainability. ecoPreserve's team of professionals have brought consistent, significant success with large organizations and institutions.
Alexa advocates for Smart Cities initiatives locally and globally. She a mayoral appointee to the City of Orlando's Sustainability Task Force, She is the Co-Chair of the University of Florida's Board for Sustainability and the Built Environment, and a founding member of the Central Florida Energy Efficiency Alliance and Green Destination. She served on the Board of Directors for the U.S. Green Building Council and the International Facilities Management Association. She also chaired the Green Committee for the Building Owners and Managers Association and serves a judge for Orange County Public Schools Green Schools Recognition Program.
